起凸自然留下的锤目纹是手作美感所在。若保留肌理，仅用木/皮锤轻整而不用平锤压光，最后上一薄层微晶蜡护色。若需镜面，则逐号砂纸配平锤精整至无痕再抛光。也可局部做旧（硫化钾溶液）凸显锤痕层次。
The hammer marks left by raising are part of its handmade beauty. To keep them, true only with wood/rawhide hammers and skip the flat-planishing, then seal with a thin microcrystalline wax. For a mirror finish, progress through sandpaper grits with a flat hammer to erase marks, then polish. Local antiquing (potassium sulphide) can deepen the hammer relief.
