自制砂箱、木模与起模工具

小作坊自焊砂箱用 40×40×4 mm 角钢做框、箱带间隔 150–200 mm，定位销取 Ø20 mm 圆钢带锥度导向；木模选桦木或松木，虫胶漆封孔两遍，拔模斜度留 1–2°，分型面贴 0.5 mm 铜皮耐磨。起模针、敲模棒与随形板（follow board）可全部自制，成本几乎为零。浇注 200 次后销孔磨损超 0.5 mm 就要补焊重钻，否则错箱产生披缝。尺寸表可参考 C. W. Ammen《Metalcasting》的手工造型章节，按铸件重量选箱档间距。
Weld your own flasks from 40×40×4 mm angle with cross-bars every 150–200 mm and Ø20 mm tapered locating pins; make patterns in birch or pine, seal with two coats of shellac, allow 1–2° draft, and face the parting line with 0.5 mm brass for wear. Draw spikes, rapping bars and follow boards are all zero-cost homemade items. After about 200 pours, re-weld and re-drill pin holes worn over 0.5 mm or mismatched partings show as fin. C. W.
