To make a touchable replica of a 17th-century fabric-textured silver box, the studio took a silicone negative at 0.2 mm detail, cast it into a low-melt alloy (about 138 °C) roller liner, and transferred it to 1.2 mm copper in five passes at 0.15 mm reduction each. Artificially aged, the replica sits beside the original, which returns to a climate case; all imprint parameters enter the replication archive. ---
