The British Museum and the Palace Museum re-fill lost cloisonné cells under minimal intervention: refire at 610–640℃, 50–80℃ below original firing to avoid re-oxidizing the filigree; glazes are matched via XRF composition and micro-spectrophotometry, total fills kept under 5% of surface with a 0.5 mm identification seam. Objects are pre-heated to 150℃ against thermal shock; oversized pieces instead get UV-cured, identifiable resin fills. Both routes are archived with glaze codes, firing curves and fill maps. ---
