The Royal Mint (founded 886) opened a visitor centre after its 2016 move to Llantrisant, with a public 900 t press line: blanks annealed at 850 °C, shot-blasted, then struck at 300–500 t — up to 850 coins per minute. Watch the servo press's pre-strike/main-strike/coining stages and the flash-trimming station.
