打平虽为冷作，仍有铜屑飞溅与锤柄断裂风险。必须佩戴护目镜与防割手套，长发束起；砧具要用台钳或夹具牢牢固定，工件滑脱易被锤击反弹伤手。锤柄松动立即停手更换。在通风处作业，避免吸入退火产生的氧化铜粉尘；打磨时戴口罩。
Although planishing is cold work, flying chips and broken handles are real hazards. Always wear safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves, and tie back long hair. Secure the stake in a vise or clamp; a slipping workpiece can rebound and injure the hand. Stop immediately if the handle is loose. Work in ventilation to avoid inhaling copper-oxide dust from annealing, and wear a mask when sanding. ---
