打平修光是金属成形后的精整工序，不等于普通敲打。它的目标是消除起鼓或锻打留下的锤痕、让壁厚均匀并释放加工应力。操作时锤面必须平滑、砧具形状要贴合工件曲面，靠"锤与砧对挤"而非蛮力把金属擀平。
Planishing is a finishing stage after forming, not ordinary hammering. Its purpose is to remove raised or forged hammer marks, even out wall thickness and relieve work stress. The hammer face must be smooth and the stake must match the workpiece curvature; metal is flattened by hammer-and-stake squeezing, not by brute force. ---
