无辊压机时可用锤打压印平面织物。将退火极软的银片置于平砧，覆一层蕾丝，上垫薄皮革保护，用木槌或皮锤均匀走锤把纹路压入。关键是力度均匀、反复翻面保证正反一致，且织物须平整无褶。完成后蕾丝纹以负像呈现，适合做银盘底纹或耳饰背景。
Without a mill, hammer-imprint flat fabric. Lay annealed very-soft silver on a flat stake, cover with lace, protect with a thin leather layer on top, and work a wooden or rawhide mallet evenly to press the pattern in. The key is uniform force and flipping for consistency, with the cloth wrinkle-free. The lace appears as a negative—good for silver-dish grounds or earring backgrounds. ---
