打平器皿养护：内壁用后以温水软布擦净、倒扣晾干，忌洗碗机——碱性洗涤剂会咬蚀焊缝与铜体；氧化不均属正常，柠檬加盐轻擦后补蜡即可。仓储时壶体口沿朝下扣放在软木环上，避免颈部单点承重导致椭圆化；库房应避硫源与海边盐雾，湿度维持 50% 上下。搬运必须双手托底，只提提梁最容易让已打平的肩部回弹变形，前功尽弃。
Caring for planished vessels: rinse the inside with warm water and a soft cloth, drain mouth-down—never the dishwasher, whose alkaline detergent eats seams and copper. Uneven oxide is normal; a lemon-and-salt rub followed by wax restores it. Store kettles rim-down on cork rings so the neck carries no point load, in a sulphide-free, salt-free room near 50% RH. Carry from underneath with both hands: lifting by the handle alone springs a planished shoulder back out of shape.
