Contemporary lighting brands cast burlap and lace textures onto copper: stretch and low-heat-press the fabric, pour condensation-cure silicone (Shore A30, 4 h cure) directly over it—even 0.1 mm fibres transfer. Enlarge the wax master by the 8% bronze shrink rate, and fine-tune uneven texture by local 400-grit wax dressing. After casting, wash off residual silicone oil with dilute hydrochloric acid before patination, or the surface resists color. ---
