佛罗伦萨圣若望洗礼堂「天堂之门」（Ghiberti，1425–1452）的室外复制品修复中，修复方对风化原格分块翻模：每块不超过 40×40 cm，涂脱模剂后刷涂加成型硅胶三层至 6 mm 厚，背衬石膏壳防变形；缺失的鎏金饰件用失蜡法补铸，合金按文艺复兴配比 Cu 87%/Sn 8%/Pb 3%。补块以可逆环氧定位，不做整体化处理以便日后再次修复。
Restoring the outdoor replica of Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise (Florence Baptistery, 1425–1452), conservators moulded the weathered panels in sections: each under 40×40 cm, three brushed layers of addition-cure silicone to 6 mm with a plaster jacket. Lost gilded elements were re-cast by lost wax at Renaissance composition (Cu 87%/Sn 8%/Pb 3%) and set with reversible epoxy—no total integration, keeping future retreatment open. ---
